Surrounded by agriculture leaders at a farm near Scott Air Force Base in Belleville County, Ill., U.S. Representative Bill Enyart (D-Ill.) on September 16 introduced a bill – titled the Biofuels Development Act of 2013 – that would establish a pilot program for the U.S. Air Force (USAF) to support research and development for a bio-based aviation fuel for use by the USAF.
