The Indiana Supreme Court announced February 3 that it publicly reprimanded former Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) administrative law judge Scott Storms for negotiating a job with Duke Energy at the same time that he was overseeing portions of Duke’s “Edwardsport” integrated-gasification combined-cycle (IGCC) rate case. “The discipline imposed might have been more severe had this matter been submitted [to the Indiana Supreme Court] without the Commission’s agreement to the proposed discipline,” according to the Court order.
