Axens to Acquire Criterion's Catalytic-Reforming Catalyst Business

France-based Axens announced January 6 that it has signed a deal with Criterion Catalysts and Shell for the purchase of Criterion's catalytic-reforming catalyst business. The deal includes the acquisition of Criterion's Willow Island, W. Va., manufacturing plant for reforming catalyst and related intellectual property rights to pursue such business. The terms of the agreement weren't disclosed.
