Despite Lack of Recharge Stations, China Still Targeting One Million EVs by 2015

China's Ministry of Science and Technology earlier this month announced that it's sticking to its target of one million electric vehicles (EVs) by 2015, although EV sales so far have been hampered by a lack of widely available EVrecharge stations. According to a July 18 report by Automotive News China, more than 30 cities in China are targeted for participation in an EV-demonstration project.
