Air Products Nabs Supply Deal for Australia LNG Project

Air Products announced May 14 that it won a contract worth at least US$6 million from Daewoo Shipbuilding to supply nitrogen generators for an Australian offshore liquefied-natural-gas (LNG) project that will supply LNG to Japan. “The contract covers delivery of nitrogen generator sets for use on the large-scale Australian offshore ‘Ichthys’ LNG project,” according to the company. “Air Products previously signed a contract with Shell for a similar delivery to the company’s huge ‘Prelude’ LNG project.”
