摘要

The Transpacific Stabilization Agreement (TSA) announced April 3 that Asia-U.S. ocean-freight shipping (overwhelmingly diesel-powered) is beginning to rebound following the steep economic recession of recent years. “A combination of leading market indicators and forward bookings suggest the beginnings of a gradual upturn in cargo volumes, and that is helping to support the latest round of general rate increases that took effect on April 1,” according to the TSA.
