Scientists Find China’s CO2 Emissions Likely Worse than Reported

A new study by researchers at Harvard University in the U.S. and Nanjing University in China find that earlier studies on carbon-dioxide (CO2) emissions in China likely understate the real emissions. According to the study published in the academic journal, Atmospheric Environment (Elsevier), the researchers employed a “bottom-up” method for calculating CO2 emissions in China.
