The description of new species of Pachydeminae from the Middle and Far East let strengthen our still incomplete knowledge of this subfamily in Asia: Pachnessa drumonti nov. sp., P. smetsi nov. sp., first record of this subfamily for Cambodia; P vietnamica nov. sp., first record of its kind in Vietnam; Tanyproctus waziristanicus nov. sp.,first record of its genus for Pakistan; T sabatinellii nov. sp., first record of its genus for Thailand; T batangicus nov. sp. et T poggii nov. sp. from China; T farsensis nov. sp. from Iran.
