Status of Geodetic Application Research in KASS

摘要

The Space geodesy division of KAS1 (Korea Astronomy and Space science Institute), investigated the geodetic applications of KVN (Korean VLBI Network) as one of the institute projects in 2006. We simulated the global and local scale contribution of KVN to geodetic VLBI networks when KVN participates in the geodetic observations and performed the preliminary study for plate motion in Korean peninsula using KVN. Through these studies, we could expect prospective role of KVN in space geodesy field in Korea.
