Temperature Depletion of the Upper Laser Level ~4F_(3/2) of Neodymium in the La2S3 · 2Ga2O3 Glass

Luminescence from the ~4F_(5/2) + ~2H_(9/2) level is revealed in the La2S3 · 2Ga2O3 glass at a temperature of 600 K. In the four-level approximation, the conditions are determined at which the ~4F_(5/2) + ~2H_(9/2) level is populated.
