In our recent works [1,2],we proposed a model of excited atoms that accounts for the relationship between the glass transition condition and the Linde-mann melting criterion and makes it possible to describe the viscosity in the glass transition range and the plasticity of vitreous systems.In this paper,we presented the results of calculating the entropy of activation of atomic excitation for the first time.The calculation was performed by using the example of two classes of glasses,namely,alkali silicate and sulfate phosphate glasses.Moreover,we proposed a new criterion for glass transition in liquids.
