Workshop Listings

Avenll bhepps will teach a workshop at Thompson Enamel in Bellevue, KY, on Saturday and Sunday, May 6 & 7, 2006. While the sifting techniques to be taught can be applied to enameling on any surface, the primary focus will be on learning how to apply enamel to bowls and to steeper-sided vessels, using primarily transparent enamels. Designing for bowls, copper preparation, grade sifting enamels and finishing techniques will all be taught. In addition, some techniques for producing enamel in quantity will be discussed and demonstrated.
