Colloquium 'Handling of Fibre Materials'

The Association of German Engineers (VDI) and the German Institute for Standardisation (DIN) in cooperation with ICOH Scientific Committee on Fibres organized the colloquium "Umgang mit Fasermaterialien" (Handling of Fibre Materials) in Berlin on 1 to 2 October 2003.It was the 5~(th) colloquium on this subject after the first one in 1982 in Strasbourg.About 80 participants followed the presentations in the four sessions:evaluation of fibre dust and regulations,refractory ceramic fibres (RCF) and high-temperature glass wool,fibre insulation materials,and new aspects of measuring practice.
