This unique product combines the safety benefits of laminated glass with the eye-pleasing appeal of sand-blasted glass making it, claims the US company, ideal for safety barriers, balustrades, partitions, door panels, side lights and much more. Glasslam's Sand Seal is a special coating applied to sand-blasted glass. After the coating has cured, the sand-blasted design can be laminated to the internal part of the glass, thus encasing the design within the laminate. This, claims Glasslam, eliminates problems associated with cleaning sand-blasted glass.
