I have always appreciated fine art. About a decade ago I happened upon some enameled pieces at a gallery and I was instantly smitten. I knew it was a long shot but I left my name and number at the gallery for the artist, hoping to hear back. Two years I got a call from Dennis Berry and so it began. I apprenticed with him a very short time, and bought his equipment and glass and dove in. It came very easy to me. I let go of my career and took a leap of faith. My decision was quickly affirmed with positive feedback from galleries, designers, fellow artists and customers. Things took off at a trajectory I could not have fathomed. I am going into my eighth year of business and I work predominantly with galleries, designers and directly with clients. My goal is to someday make several very large pieces a year at an International level and smaller ones for fun.
