Turkish cutting table manufacturer CMS Isicam Makinalari has recently developed a new CNC shaped-glass cutting table which will be on show at the Vitrum 2001 trade fair, in Milan, Italy. The company claims that this CNC shaped-glass cutting table is able to cut glasses of 2 to 19 mm thicknesses into any shape.The system contains more than 300 different shapes, and newly created shapes can be imported by means of Auto CAD software. The table is able to cut 3,210 X 2,500 mm glass with a considerably high adjustable cutting speed, and a cutting tolerance of +- 0.3 mm.
