Calculations of Stresses in a 'Glass-Amorphous Alloy' Composite

The possibility of producing a "glass-amorphous alloy" composite by ultrafast quenching of a melt has been considered from the viewpoint of residual stresses (strength) on which stringent requirements are imposed. It has been demonstrated that this composite, in principle, can exist.
