Thanks to the mild weather of the last two months, our headquarters building is under roof, and interior work has started. Plans are being made to have an OPEN HOUSE the second week in October. We anticipate a six-day event, with workshops and a non-juried exhibition. Details should be announced in our April issue. If you are interested in teaching a workshop, please contact us. We have had more opportunity than usual the past two months to spread the word about ENAMEL. First, Thompson Enamel shared a half-hour television program on KET (Kentucky Educational Television). The program ran twice, about one week apart. Second, Bill Helwig shared another half-hour program, on the same station. It also ran twice, about one week apart. Two High School classes, each with about 30 students, visited Thompson Enamel. One, for a tour of the plant, and the second for a three-hour workshop. On January 2, 2006, the Cincinnati Enquirer ran a front page article about Thompson Enamel.
