La Paz—Tecnimont has been selected by Bolivia's Yacimientos Petro-liferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB) to complete the engineering studies for ethylene and polyethylene (PE) facilities planned in Gran Chaco, Bolivia (PCN, 20 Oct 08, p 3). YPFB earlier said it expected to invest about $1.55-billion in these projects subject to technical studies, the exploitation of natural gas reserves and an expansion oi the transport infrastructure and pipeline systems.
