Feature/Forensic geoscience

The use of geology in criminal investigations is well-known; the first edition of Murray & Tedrow's Forensic Geology was published in 1975 (revised and reprinted in 1991). Raymond Murray has also recently published Evidence from the Earth, which has a similar blend of science and case studies as its predecessors. Geology, geophysics, palynology and anthropology often feature in books on criminalistics, such as that by R. C. Saferstein, published in 2001. For those wishing to see the state of the art, Pye & Croft's Forensic Geosdence and my own article in Earth Science Reviews provide abundant technical detail.
