Tectonics,Magmatism,and Metallogeny of Active Continental Margins

A geological conference dedicated to the tectonics,magmatism,and mineralogy of the Northwest Pacific and other active continental margins was held under the aegis of the International Association on the Genesis of Ore Deposits (IAGOD) in Vladivostok in September 2004.The selection of place and time was not incidental:September 2004 corresponded to the anniversary of the Far East Geological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (FEGI RAS),the first academic institute,established 45 years ago,in eastern Russia.
