Sponge is an immemorial species appeared on the earth in the early Cambrian period, it outspread very widely in the Jurassic and the Cretaceous period from marine to freshwater. Many novel and biologically active compounds have frequently been isolated from the marine sponges these years, while research papers about freshwater sponges were lesser.
