摘要

Wet compression (a.k.a. power fogging, high fogging) can increase gas turbine power output for peak-load demand and generate owner income at times of highest electric power prices, for a relatively small incremental equipment investment. It can increase gas turbine power output by 20 percent and raise efficiency by 2 percent (depending on turbine model and site conditions), says AxEnergy which builds and markets these fogging systems. Fogging also reduces NO{sub}x and CO{sub}2 emissions per unit of power generated.
