CONTRACT AWARDED ON WESTERN TRANCHE PIPELINE PROJECT

THERE WILL BE four separate feeder pipelines totaling approximately 125 km to transport gas to the main pipeline that runs to the Curtis Island processing facility in Gladstone. The pipelines are being constructed in the gas fields west of Taroom and north of Roma and Miles in Queensland. Simon National Carriers expects to transport approximately 900 extendable trailer loads of 18 m coated steel pipe (457 mm OD and 610 mm OD) to the right-of-way from a stockpile site located at Biloela in central Queensland, with completion expected at the end of May 2014. Pipe transport commenced in mid-October 2013, and Simon National Carriers is currently utilising 12 trailers full-time on the project.
