Alumina-Supported Ruthenium Catalysts for the Racemization of Secondary Alcohols

摘要

The resolution of racemic alcohols is a practical approach to the synthesis of enantiomerically pure alcohols on an industrial scale.However,a major disadvantage of the resolution is the yield limited only to 50%.Hence,racemization of the unwanted enantiomer is desirable for overcoming the disadvantage.
