Energen to Acquire Wolfberry Holdings for US$185M

Energen Resources Corp. officials signed an agreement to acquire 8,700 net acres of land in the Permian basin from a private seller for US$185 million. The bulk of the land is in the Wolfberry trend in Martin County, Texas. The acquisition, which is expected to close by September 30, includes 19 producing wells and is 100% operated. Additionally, Energen has identified 142 proved undeveloped locations and 50 probable locations.
