Tudor, Pickering Puts Regency Stock on Hold Due to Perceived Capital Shortfall

Anson Williams of Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. has placed Regency Energy Partners on hold because of the company's need for additional funding for capital projects and, possibly, to maintain distributions. Williams stated that while he still backs Regency's planned $1.1 billion expansion of its Haynesville Intrastate Gas System (GPR 10/8/08), the current economic climate is not looking at the project as enthusiastically.
