A majority of the natural gas production in the Gulf of Mexico is back online with the U.S. Minerals Management Service (MMS) reporting that 45.7% of the region’s 7.4 billion cubic feet per day (cf/d) production remains shut-in as of Sept. 30 from damage caused by Hurricane Ike.
