As was the case with most of hearings for President-elect Barack Obama's Cabinet last week, the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee confirmation hearing Thursday for Obama's appointment for Secretary of the Department of the Interior, Sen. Ken Salazar (D-Colo.), was more a formality than a grilling. Salazar was confirmed by the Senate by a vote of 99-0 shortly after Barack Obama was sworn in as president Tuesday.
