Cheniere to Re-Export LNG

Cheniere Energy received approval from the U.S. Department of Energy to re-export LNG imported at the Sabine Pass LNG regasification terminal in Louisiana. The financially troubled company is hoping to benefit by buying LNG in the summer at cheaper prices and then re-selling the LNG at higher prices to foreign markets in the winter.
