TransCanada to Sell North Baja Pipeline for $395 Million

TransCanada reached an agreement to sell its North Baja Pipeline to its affiliate TC PipeLines LP for $395 million, including $200 million in cash and 6.4 million TC PipeLines common units. TransCanada will remain operator of the 80-mile pipeline, which has 600 million cubic feet per day of capacity and runs from Southwestern Arizona to the California/Mexico border where it connects with a Mexican pipeline.
