Spherulitic carbonate formations of unclear origin have been recorded by numerous researchers in caves of the Ural Mountains. They do not correspond to recent conditions of mineral formation and differ from traditional morphological types of speleothems (various types of dripstones and flowstones, cave pearls, moon-milk, corraloids, helictites, and others).
