The market for purifiers in FY2011 is expected to have moved along about the same as that of the previous year, maintaining 6.1 billion. There were following reasons for this. Although the demand for the semiconductor fabrication market in Japan was sluggish, since 2009 there had been capital investment in semiconductor and liquid crystal production in such East Asian countries as China, Taiwan, and Korea, and the LED mass production in Japan and overseas started, all contributing to maintining such sales records.
