Gazprom and CNPC seek price agreement for Russian gas exports to China

Gazprom deputy chairman Alexander Medvedev, and China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) vice president Wang Dongjin held the latest scheduled round of commercial negotiations on a Russian gas supply to China by the western (Altai) route in Moscow yesterday. A Gazprom release said that the two sides “noted the progress in coordinating the gas pipeline specifications” and that “consideration was given to the project funding and commercial parameters of the forthcoming delivery of Russian natural gas to the Chinese market, scheduled to start in 2015”.
