Natural gas prices saw solid gains this week as they continued to move in line with the overall economy, which showed potential signs of strengthening. Aside from Conway iso-butane, all NGLs at both hubs improved in price this week. However, it is not just a better forecast for the greater economy that is a cause for increased NGL prices. Roger Farrell, senior vice president, Southern Union midstream operations and president and CEO of Southern Union Gas Services, noted that demand has increased.
