A big reason why the U.S.isn't more competitive with other LNG importers: Our regasification terminals are in the wrong place.If LNG exporters to the US could get the prices paid at the Northeast urban areas like New York City,they would get almost 1-2/Mcf more than they are getting now on the Gulf Coast.As you can see from the above futures tables,that would make the U.S.very competitive with the U.K.
