摘要

An important aspect of investigation into the genesis of salt-bearing formations (among those of other types of sediments) is obtaining reliable information on the concentrations, distribution, and speciation of trace elements and on their geochemical compatibility with major elements and minerals. According to their abundances and average concentrations, certain trace elements can form individual minerals but are classed with the group of so-called deficient elements because of certain chemical and crystal chemical characteristics of their atoms that predetermine the geochemistry of these elements. One of these elements is boron [1,2].
