Novatek awarded four Yamal gas fields

Russian prime minister Vladimir Putin has ordered the government to award independent gas company Novatek the development rights to four fields in the Yamal Peninsula, RIA Novosti reported on Friday. The fields could help supply gas to Novatek’s Yamal LNG project.
