The European Commission (EC) is taking Bulgaria and Romania to the EU Court of Justice over the countries’ failure to implement EU rules on gas market access and transparency, the EC said on Thursday. The Commission said that neither country offers interruptible reverse flow capacity at interconnection points, while Romania “does not entirely respect” EU capacity transparency requirements.
