Queensland CBM to LNG projects receive conditional Government approval

BG Group and a Santos-led consortium have received federal government approval to build their respective coal-bed methane (CBM)-fed LNG projects in Queensland, Australia. Federal environment minister Tony Burke gave the projects the green light but has included a list of more than 300 environmental conditions that must be met before the projects go ahead.
