摘要

Thailand's state-owned oil and gas company PTT is on track to start operating its LNG import terminal in April 2011, Wuttikorn Stithit, vice president of LNG supply at PTT said at the Asia Pacific Summit held in Singapore on Tuesday. The terminal will be the first to come on stream among its Southeast Asia import projects. The terminal located in the Mab Ta Phut industrial area of the Rayong province will commence operating with 1 mtpa capacity. Import capacity at the terminal will steadily increase over a period of four to five years to reach 5 mtpa with the addition of a second jetty. The first jetty at the terminal has the capacity to receive Q-Max vessels, says Wuttikorn.
