Crosstex Energy Completes US$220M Asset Sale

Crosstex Energy LP completed its previously announced sale of its assets in Mississippi, Alabama and South Texas to Southcross Energy LLC for US$220 million. The proceeds were used to pay down roughly $212 million of its outstanding debt. The assets consist of roughly 780 miles of intrastate gathering and transmission pipelines and throughput capacity of roughly 185,000 million Btu per day in Mississippi and Alabama.
