Pipeline sabotage forces Yemen LNG to reschedule maintenance

A maintenance shutdown planned on October 23 at the Yemen LNG plant in Balhaf has started one week ahead of schedule, to offset the production loss caused by attacks on Saturday on the pipeline connecting the facility to gas fields at Block 18. “The gas pipeline was sabotaged with explosives at 0h30 on October 15, 75 km to the north of Balhaf,” the Total-led Yemen LNG consortium said.
