Gazprom to sell more gas at spot prices

In an effort to defend its shrinking market share in Europe as buyers try to minimize gas purchases at expensive oil-indexed prices, Gazprom has bowed to pressure from E.ON Ruhrgas and agreed to sell some of its gas deliveries on a spot market basis.
