OMV confident of securing 10 Bcm/y of Iraqi gas for Nabucco, despite political uncertainty

Austria's OMV is confident it can secure 10 Bcm/y of gas for the Nabucco pipeline from the Kurdistan region in Northern Iraq by 2015. "We have requested this gas for 2015 and they [the KRG authorities] are saying they can make it happen," Werner Auli, OMV's head of gas and power, told Gas Matters Today at the sidelines of a media summit on Friday.
