Norway has awarded 10 exploration licences in frontier areas of the Barents Sea in its latest licencing round, which was launched in January last year, the Norwegian energy ministry said this week. A total of 13 companies won licences across 40 blocks, three of which in a newly opened area in the southeast of the Barents Sea, the ministry said on Wednesday.
