Cyprus looking to tie Aphrodite field to Egypt’s Zohr field

Cyprus is considering building a pipeline to tie into Eni’s recently discovered Zohr gas field offshore Egypt, where the gas would be pooled with gas from the latter and delivered to Egypt, Cyprus’ energy minister Giorgos Lakkotrypis was quoted as saying. The Cypriot minister’s comments come a day after Eni presented the development plan for the Zohr field to Egypt’s president Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.
