BG to sell stake in Bongkot gas field - reports

UK-based BG Group plans to sell its stake in the Bongkot field offshore Thailand for around USD 1.2 billion, according to reports this week. The Bongkot field, operated by Thai state-owned PTTEP, provides supply for roughly 20% of Thailand’s annual gas demand, according to BG. Production from Thailand accounted for 6% of BG’s total gas production in last year.
