Ongoing negotiations between OCP and buyers in India over the delayed fourth-quarter phosphoric acid price had yet to result in a settlement by the time of publication on 28 October. Most market sources are still expecting an imminent jump in the acid price following the 12 October announcement that India’s cabinet had approved a special “one-time” increase in the nutrient-based subsidy (NBS) for DAP and three NPK grades for 2021/22.
