E.ON is to increase its gas storage capacity in Hungary by 600MMcm this year, significantly adding to Hungary's existing 3.7 Bcm capacity, local media sources reported on Thursday. E.ON F?ldgáz, the Germany company's Hungarian subsidiary, is the only storage operator in the country and has five underground storage facilities, with a total daily withdrawal capacity of 50.5 MMcm.
